How to send a referral
By fax
Fax prescriptions and referrals to (443) 602-8772. Include demographics and insurance information; we'll confirm any additional documentation directly with your office.
By e-prescription
Search for Red Lion Pharmacy (Nottingham, MD) in your e-prescribing system. If your staff can't find us, call us for help. Faxed referrals reach the same pharmacy team.
After you send a referral
Benefits coordination
We work with your office and the insurance plan on coverage requirements. Your staff can discuss questions directly with our pharmacy team.
Cost review
We review expected cost with the patient before shipping and check for available savings programs, so cost conversations happen with the pharmacy.
Routing updates
If a plan or a limited-distribution medication routes elsewhere, we notify your office so the prescription can be redirected.
Talk to the pharmacy team
